Ski Maui? There’s no ski lifts on Maui. However, every once in a while they do get a frosty topped Mt. Haleakala.
Although this isn’t really snow on Maui (See below)… I’ve got Maui on my mind. I thought about how easy it would be to walk outside and write MAUI in the back yard. Perhaps its like walking on the beach in Hawaii and writing your name in the sand. The easyness aside… I put on a flannel shirt to brave the thirty degree temperature. Still in my shorts and slippahs, I flung the door open and walked to the yard. The first step into the snow (if that’s what you call it) was the best. The subsequent steps were covered with dirt! So, my vision of drawing in the sand (snow) became a challenge, especially on where I was to step next. Anyway, the picture still had to be captured for my friends, family and myself to remember.

Now to go relax on my chair outside with a nice cup of brew…
